RICH
THOMAS
COPELAND
I write and sing songs with flavors of Rock, Country, Blues and Gospel. My experiences and questions about the nature of God influence my worldview and much of my songwriting.
I grew up learning to play piano and sing in a family of accomplished church musicians, attended Belmont University in Nashville, and have enjoyed many opportunities to work in the Country and Contemporary Christian Music spheres. I've worked extensively as a studio vocalist and stage performer, a church music director, producer of large and small projects, and a private vocal coach. I also founded the Miami Worship Choir and served as Producing Artistic Director for several years.
I welcome invitations to work across genres with anyone and everyone. I find the most successful collaborations are the ones that require artists to consider new ideas and learn from each other.
The God Who Sees Me is a compilation of songs from past projects that were previously released under the names Rich Copeland or Rich Thomas. Please have a listen, and if you like something, you may download it for free (or pay what you like) for your own personal listening enjoyment. For any other use, please get in touch.
